Maytag Oven/Range F30 Error Code
The oven temperature sensor is shorted to ground or between wires.
Common causes
- Sensor wire insulation damaged causing short
- Moisture in the sensor connector
- Failed sensor
How to fix it
- Turn off power at the breaker for 5 minutes.
- Disconnect the sensor and inspect the wires for exposed copper.
- Check for moisture or corrosion at the connector.
- Measure resistance between sensor terminals and ground; if low resistance to ground, replace sensor.
⚠ When to call a pro: If the sensor is not shorted but error persists, the control board may be damaged.
