LG Refrigerator F21 Error Code
The freezer evaporator fan is not running. This fan circulates cold air over the evaporator coils and into the freezer compartment.
Common causes
- Fan motor failure
- Obstruction (ice or debris) blocking fan blades
- Wiring issue or loose connector
How to fix it
- Unplug refrigerator and remove freezer shelves/drawers to access the fan (usually behind back panel).
- Check if fan spins freely by hand; if stuck, clear ice with a hair dryer (low heat) or remove debris.
- If fan spins freely, check for 12V DC at the fan connector when power is applied (requires multimeter).
- Inspect wiring harness for damage or loose connection at fan and main board.
