LG Refrigerator Er Error Code
Communication between the main control board and the display board is lost. The refrigerator may still cool but controls become unresponsive.
Common causes
- Loose or damaged display ribbon cable
- Faulty display board
- Faulty main board
- Wire harness damage
How to fix it
- Unplug refrigerator and reseat the ribbon cable connecting display to main board (usually behind the display panel).
- Check for bent pins or damage on the connector.
- If possible, test with a known good display board.
