Whirlpool Dryer F10 Error Code

The thermal fuse has blown due to overheating, preventing the dryer from heating.

Common causes

  • Restricted airflow (clogged vent)
  • Failed blower motor
  • Faulty heat source (element or gas)

How to fix it

  1. Unplug dryer and locate thermal fuse (usually on blower housing).
  2. Check fuse continuity with multimeter (should be closed).
  3. Replace if open, and clean vent system thoroughly.
⚠ When to call a pro: If new fuse blows quickly, there is a serious airflow or heating issue.
