Kenmore Washer F28 Error Code
The washer detects that no water is entering the tub during fill cycle, or water level does not rise.
Common causes
- Water supply off
- Inlet valve screens clogged
- Faulty water inlet valve
- Faulty pressure switch
How to fix it
- Verify water faucets are on and hoses are not frozen.
- Clean the inlet valve screens as described in F20.
- Check for kinked hoses.
