Hotpoint Refrigerator F4 Error Code
The fresh food compartment temperature sensor is open, causing temperature control problems.
Common causes
- Failed thermistor
- Wire break
- Connector loose
How to fix it
- Reset by unplugging for 1 minute.
- Check the fresh food thermistor connector behind the control panel.
- Measure resistance: should be about 5k-15kΩ; if open, replace.
