Electrolux Oven/Range F2 Error Code
The oven temperature sensor is shorted, causing incorrect temperature readings.
Common causes
- Faulty oven temperature sensor (RTD)
- Moisture or debris shorting sensor leads
- Pinched or damaged sensor wires
How to fix it
- Unplug oven or turn off breaker.
- Inspect sensor wires for damage or pinching.
- Clean sensor and connector with contact cleaner.
- Measure sensor resistance: should be ~1100 ohms; if near 0 ohms, sensor is shorted.
