Maytag Dryer F27 Error Code
The thermistor is reading a short (very low resistance).
Common causes
- Thermistor failure (shorted)
- Moisture in thermistor connector
- Pinched wire causing short
How to fix it
- Unplug dryer and inspect thermistor wiring for damage
- Measure resistance; if near 0 ohms, replace thermistor
- Dry out any moisture in connectors
