Maytag Dryer F26 Error Code
The thermistor (temperature sensor) is reading as open or disconnected.
Common causes
- Broken wire to thermistor
- Failed thermistor
- Loose connection at control board
How to fix it
- Check thermistor wiring for breaks
- Measure thermistor resistance (should be 10k-100k ohms depending on temperature)
- Reseat the thermistor connector
