LG Dryer F03 Error Code

The moisture sensor (two metal strips) in the drum is not detecting wetness properly, leading to drying issues.

Common causes

  • Dirty or coated moisture sensor bars
  • Faulty sensor harness
  • Control board error

How to fix it

  1. Clean the moisture sensor bars with a fine abrasive pad (e.g., Scotch-Brite) to remove residue.
  2. Check the sensor wiring for breaks or loose connections at the sensor and board.
  3. If cleaning fails, test the sensor continuity; replace if open or shorted.
⚠ When to call a pro: Call a technician if cleaning and checking wires do not resolve the error.
