KitchenAid Oven/Range F30 Error Code
The oven temperature sensor is reading a short circuit.
Common causes
- Faulty sensor (shorted)
- Wiring short to ground
- Control board failure
How to fix it
- Turn off power to the range.
- Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance; near 0 ohms indicates a short.
- Replace the sensor if shorted.
- If sensor is fine, inspect wiring for bare wires touching chassis.
