Kenmore Oven/Range F11 Error Code
The oven temperature sensor (RTD) is reading as open (infinite resistance) or disconnected.
Common causes
- Loose wire connection at sensor or control board
- Faulty oven temperature sensor
- Broken wire harness
How to fix it
- Unplug the range
- Remove the oven back panel to access the sensor (usually at top rear)
- Check that the sensor connector is firmly plugged in
- Measure sensor resistance with a multimeter (should be ~1090 ohms at room temp)
