Hotpoint Oven/Range F9 Error Code
The oven temperature sensor has failed, causing erratic or no heating.
Common causes
- Faulty oven temperature sensor
- Loose connection at sensor or control board
How to fix it
- Unplug the range.
- Remove oven back panel and locate sensor.
- Check sensor resistance (should be ~1090 ohms at room temp).
- If resistance is out of spec, replace sensor.
