Frigidaire Dryer E74 Error Code
The moisture sensor bars (usually in drum) are dirty or faulty, causing incorrect dryness reading.
Common causes
- Lint or fabric softener buildup on sensor bars
- Open or shorted sensor wire
- Failed sensor circuit on board
How to fix it
- Clean sensor bars (usually at front of drum) with fine grit sandpaper or steel wool.
- Check continuity of wire harness from sensor to control board.
- Run a test cycle to see if code clears.
