The dryer's heating element or its circuit is open or malfunctioning, causing no heat.
Common causes
- Blown heating element
- Faulty thermal fuse or thermostat
- Loose wiring or connection
How to fix it
- Unplug dryer, remove rear panel, and visually inspect the heating element for breaks.
- Use a multimeter to check continuity of the heating element, thermal fuse, and thermostat.
- If any component lacks continuity, replace it.
