The water inlet valve for the ice maker or water dispenser is malfunctioning.
Common causes
- Valve coil open or shorted
- Water pressure too low

How to fix it
- Check water supply line for kinks and ensure the shut-off valve is fully open.
- Inspect valve coil resistance (typically 200-500Ω).
- Listen for humming when the dispenser is activated; if no sound, valve may be dead.
