Bosch Oven/Range E050 Error Code
The oven door lock mechanism has failed. Self-cleaning mode will not work.
Common causes
- Faulty door lock motor
- Door lock switch defective
- Obstruction preventing lock engagement
How to fix it
- Check door lock latch for visible obstruction.
- Listen for motor sound when self-clean starts; if silent, lock motor may be defective.
- Manually (with power off) try to move lock arm; it should move freely.
