Bosch Oven/Range E012 Error Code
The oven temperature sensor is shorted. The oven will not heat properly.
Common causes
- Faulty temperature sensor
- Sensor wires touching or shorted
- Moisture in sensor connector
How to fix it
- Disconnect power, inspect sensor wires for damage or contact with metal.
- Check connector for moisture; dry if needed.
- Measure sensor resistance (should be >0 ohms). Replace if zero or near zero.
⚠ When to call a pro: If sensor wires appear fine but still shorted, replace sensor. If code returns, call technician.
