The water heater is not operating or has a fault (model dependent).
Common causes
- Failed heating element
- Loose or burnt wiring
- Faulty thermistor
How to fix it
- Unplug and check wiring to the heater element.
- Test the heating element for continuity (should be ~10-20 ohms).
- Check the thermistor resistance at room temperature.
