Whirlpool Oven/Range F5 Error Code
The oven temperature sensor circuit is malfunctioning (short or open detected).
Common causes
- Faulty temperature sensor
- Damaged wiring harness
- Control board issue
How to fix it
- Unplug range and check sensor for visible damage.
- Test sensor resistance at room temp (should be ~1080-1100 ohms).
- If resistance out of range, replace sensor.
