The heating element is shorted to ground or case. Oven may trip breaker.

- Damaged heating element insulation
- Moisture in element
- Wiring abrasion
How to fix it
- Power off and visually inspect heating element for damage.
- Check resistance between element terminal and ground (should be infinite).
- Dry oven interior, then test.
