The fresh food compartment temperature sensor is faulty.
Common causes
- Bad fresh food thermistor
- Loose connection
- Damaged wiring
How to fix it
- Unplug refrigerator.
- Locate the fresh food thermistor (usually near evaporator cover).
- Check connector for corrosion or looseness.
- Test resistance; replace if not between 8k-15k ohms at room temp.
