The washer took too long to drain water, usually over 8 minutes.
Common causes
- Clogged drain hose or filter
- Kinked drain hose
- Drain pump failure
- Obstruction in pump
How to fix it
- Unplug the washer
- Clean the drain pump filter (located at bottom front)
- Check and straighten the drain hose
- Remove any debris from the filter
