KitchenAid Dryer F02 Error Code
The thermistor (temperature sensor) is reading out of range.
Common causes
- Faulty thermistor
- Loose wiring to thermistor
- Overheating or short circuit
How to fix it
- Unplug dryer and clean lint filter and vent system.
- Check thermistor connector for damage or looseness.
- Measure resistance; should be around 10k ohms at room temp.
⚠ When to call a pro: If cleaning and checking connections doesn't help, replace thermistor.
