Kenmore Refrigerator F3 Error Code
The freezer temperature sensor is reading out of range, potentially causing temperature issues.
Common causes
- Faulty thermistor
- Wiring damage or connector loose
- Control board failure
How to fix it
- Unplug the refrigerator and check the thermistor connector near the freezer evaporator.
- Measure resistance of the thermistor at room temperature (should be about 10k ohms).
- If resistance is way off or open, replace the thermistor.
⚠ When to call a pro: If the thermistor tests good but the error code remains, call a technician.
