Haier Dryer E1 Error Code
The thermistor (temperature sensor) is either open or short-circuited.
Common causes
- Faulty thermistor
- Loose wiring connection to thermistor
- Damaged thermistor harness
How to fix it
- Unplug the dryer and wait 5 minutes, then plug back in to reset.
- Check the thermistor connector on the control board for secure fit.
- Measure thermistor resistance with a multimeter (should be ~10-50 kΩ at room temp). If out of range, replace.
