GE Oven/Range F3 Error Code

Oven temperature sensor circuit is open (broken connection), preventing accurate temperature reading.

Common causes

  • Faulty oven temperature sensor
  • Loose or damaged wiring
  • Faulty control board

How to fix it

  1. Disconnect power.
  2. Check sensor connector at back of oven for secure fit.
  3. Measure sensor resistance; infinite reading indicates open sensor, so replace sensor.
⚠ When to call a pro: If sensor and wiring check out, control board is likely faulty.
