The thermistor reading is out of expected range, often due to wiring issues.
Common causes
- Intermittent connection in thermistor circuit
- Faulty thermistor
- Corroded pins
How to fix it
- Unplug and reseat thermistor connector
- Clean pins with contact cleaner
- Measure resistance while flexing wire to find break
