Frigidaire Refrigerator SY Error Code
The refrigerator has detected a failure in one or more temperature sensors, causing inaccurate temperature readings.
Common causes
- Faulty temperature sensor
- Loose or damaged sensor wiring
- Faulty control board
How to fix it
- Unplug refrigerator for 5 minutes, then plug back in to reset.
- Check sensor wire connections at the control board and sensor. Ensure they are secure.
- Use a multimeter to measure sensor resistance; compare to expected values in your manual.
