The oven temperature sensor is short-circuited, causing inaccurate temperature readings.
Common causes
- Faulty temperature sensor
- Damaged wiring or connection
- Moisture in sensor connector
How to fix it
- Turn off power to the oven for 5 minutes and restore power.
- Visually inspect the sensor probe for damage or corrosion.
- Measure sensor resistance with a multimeter (should be ~1080 ohms at room temperature).
