Excess water detected in the base pan. Dishwasher has a leak or overfill condition.
Common causes
- Leak from hose connection or sump
- Overfilling due to stuck inlet valve
- Cracked tub or sump
- Flood switch activated
How to fix it
- Turn off water supply and unplug immediately
- Check for visible leaks under and around dishwasher
- Dry out base pan if accessible
