Amana Refrigerator F02 Error Code
The freezer temperature sensor (thermistor) is reading out of range or shorted. Temperatures may be inaccurate.
Common causes
- Faulty freezer thermistor
- Damaged wiring to thermistor
- Connector corrosion
How to fix it
- Unplug and check the thermistor connector for damage or corrosion.
- Measure resistance with a multimeter (should be ~10k-20k ohms at room temp).
- Replace thermistor if out of spec or if code persists.
